Based on the success of Summit 2016, which is supported by Austrade, Australia China Entrepreneurs Dialogue (ACED) will continue to hold a second round Australia Agri-Food Innovation Summit 2017 in Melbourne from 10th to 12th October. (The dates above may be subject to change)

In September 2016, the 4th Australia China Entrepreneurs Dialogue with theme of “Australia Agri-Food Innovation Summit” was held in Melbourne.

The organisations supporting us included Austrade, CSIRO, Victorian Government, AgriBio, the University of Melbourne, and the University of Sydney, etc.

Attendees included Chinese well-known companies such as SF Commerce, COFOC Group, Luneng Group, West Hope Group, China State Farms Agribusiness Corporation, Tianjin Tongrentang, Shanghai Pengxin and China Development Bank. Australians included Elders, Bega Cheese and etc. There were 260 entrepreneurs in total.

The summit was very successful and helped Australians create more business opportunities with Chinese investors.

Who Will Attend the Summit 2017

We anticipate 400 enterprises including 300 Chinese agricultural and food companies.

The well-known Chinese companies above had already expressed their interest of participating in the summit, and we propose to invite Agriculture Department of province governments of Jiangsu, Sichuan, Shandong, and Agriculture Department of China central government as well.
